வேண்டி தீப்பொறிக் கேட்டான். தேவையொன்று உருவாகி பொருளீட்டும் வாய்ப்பொன்றும்
உருவாவதை உணர்ந்த நான் பத்து பைசாக்கு பற்ற வைக்க ஒத்துக் கொண்டேன். ஆனால்
அவனுக்கு தீப்பொறியினைத் தந்து விடவில்லை. மாறாக அவனது சிகரெட்டை எரித்துக்
கொள்வதற்கான உரிமத்தினை மட்டுமே வழங்கினேன். அத் தீப்பொறியின் மீதான எமது
