2017-03-10meta: restore original copyright headerJames M Snell
A prior io.js era commit inappropriately removed the original copyright statements from the source. This restores those in any files still remaining from that edit. This helps to prevent issues where a failed test can keep a bound socket open long enough to cause other tests to fail with EADDRINUSE because the same port number is used. 2016-05-08tools: lint for object literal spacingRich Trott
There has been occasional nits for spacing in object literals in PRs but the project does not lint for it and it is not always handled consistently in the existing code, even on adjacent lines of a file. This change enables a linting rule requiring no space between the key and the colon, and requiring at least one space (but allowing for more so property values can be lined up if desired) between the colon and the value. This appears to be the most common style used in the current code base. Example code the complies with lint rule: myObj = { foo: 'bar' }; Examples that do not comply with the lint rule: myObj = { foo : 'bar' }; myObj = { foo:'bar' }; PR-URL: https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/6592 Reviewed-By: James M Snell <jasnell@gmail.com> Reviewed-By: Brian White <mscdex@mscdex.net>
2015-12-30http: fix non-string header value concatenationBrian White
Since headers are stored in an empty literal object ({}) instead of an object created with Object.create(null), care must be taken with property names inherited from Object. Currently there are only functions inherited, so we can safely check for existing strings instead. 2015-06-29tools: re-enable comma-spacing linter ruleRoman Reiss
The rule was disabled because of an eslint bug which is now resolved. All code in lib was already conforming and only test code needed a few changes to make the linter happy with this rule enabled. 2015-05-19test: enable linting for testsRoman Reiss
Enable linting for the test directory. A number of changes was made so all tests conform the current rules used by lib and src directories. The only exception for tests is that unreachable (dead) code is allowed. test-fs-non-number-arguments-throw had to be excluded from the changes because of a weird issue on Windows CI. The copyright and license notice is already in the LICENSE file. There is no justifiable reason to also require that it be included in every file, since the individual files are not individually distributed except as part of the entire package.
