2019-11-28test: move test-https-server-consumed-timeout to parallelRich Trott
Change the test to be robust in slow environments and move to parallel. The previous version of the test failed for me in parallel with just two or four simultaneous versions running. This version passes 96 simultaneous versions running, but still fails as designed if the request writes fail to prevent the request timeout from occurring. 2016-10-29test: fix freebsd10-64 CI failuresRich Trott
Remove unneeded timers from some tests and move others from parallel testing to sequential testing. This is to resolve test failures on freebsd10-64 on CI. The failures are all due to timers firing later than expected. Timers firing later than they are set for can happen on resource-constrained hosts and is not a bug. In general, it may be wise to put tests that depend on timing into sequential testing rather than parallel testing, as the timing can be affected by other simultaneously-running test processes. 2016-07-17test: fix flaky test-http-server-consumed-timeoutRich Trott
Using identical timeout values appears to have eliminated the flakiness in the test. Fixes: https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues/7643 PR-URL: https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/7717 Reviewed-By: Fedor Indutny <fedor.indutny@gmail.com>
2016-06-10test: use random ports where possibleBrian White
This helps to prevent issues where a failed test can keep a bound socket open long enough to cause other tests to fail with EADDRINUSE because the same port number is used. 2016-04-20http: unref socket timer on parser executeFedor Indutny
When underlying `net.Socket` instance is consumed in http server - no `data` events are emitted, and thus `socket.setTimeout` fires the callback even if the data is constantly flowing into the socket. Fix this by calling `socket._unrefTimer()` on every `onParserExecute` call. Fix: #5899 PR-URL: https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/6286 Reviewed-By: James M Snell <jasnell@gmail.com>
