2017-12-27http: add rawPacket in err of `clientError` eventXadillaX
The `rawPacket` is the current buffer that just parsed. Adding this buffer to the error object of `clientError` event is to make it possible that developers can log the broken packet. This helps to prevent issues where a failed test can keep a bound socket open long enough to cause other tests to fail with EADDRINUSE because the same port number is used. 2016-01-07http: overridable `clientError`Fedor Indutny
Make default `clientError` behavior (close socket immediately) overridable. With this APIs it is possible to write a custom error handler, and to send, for example, a 400 HTTP response. http.createServer(...).on('clientError', function(err, socket) { socket.end('HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request\r\n\r\n'); socket.destroy(); }); Fix: #4543 PR-URL: https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/4557 Reviewed-By: Brian White <mscdex@mscdex.net>
