2019-01-27assert: adjust loose assertionsRuben Bridgewater
This changes the loose deep equal comparison by using the same logic as done in the strict deep equal comparison besides comparing primitives loosely, not comparing symbol properties and not comparing the prototype. `assert.deepEqual` is still commenly used and this is likely the biggest pitfall. Most changes are only minor and won't have a big impact besides likely fixing user expectations. currently if you want to use dynamic import you must use both the `--experimental-modules` and the `--harmony-dynamic-imports` flags. Chrome is currently shipping dynamic import unflagged, the flag only remains in V8 to guard embedders who have not set the appropriate callback from throwing an unhandled rejection when the feature is used. It can be useful to load dependencies as part of the loader hook definition file. This fixes a bug where `import x from 'x'` would always return `x` as `undefined` if the import was made in a loader hooks definition module. A parallel change to the CJS loading injection process meant that the CJS module wasn't being injected into the correct loader instance, which is corrected here with a test. 2017-09-07module: Allow runMain to be ESMBradley Farias
This follows the EPS an allows the node CLI to have ESM as an entry point. `node ./example.mjs`. A newer V8 is needed for `import()` so that is not included. `import.meta` is still in specification stage so that also is not included.
