The password must either be specified 29 as the last command-line argument or in the TALER_MERCHANT_PASSWORD 30 environment variable. 31 32 Usually, the instance for which the password is being set must 33 already exist. However, as a special exception, if the instance 34 specified is the "admin" instance, then it is created (with 35 sensible defaults) if it does not yet exist. 36 37 Its options are as follows: 38 39 **-c** *FILENAME* \| **--config=**\ \ *FILENAME* 40 Use the configuration and other resources for the merchant to operate 41 from *FILENAME*. 42 43 **-h** \| **--help** 44 Print short help on options. 45 46 **-i** *NAME* \| **--instance**\ \ *NAME* 47 Specifies the name of the instance for which the password should be 48 updated. If not given, the "admin" instance is modified. 49 50 **-L** *LOGLEVEL* \| **--loglevel=**\ \ *LOGLEVEL* 51 Specifies the log level to use. Accepted values are: ``DEBUG``, ``INFO``, 52 ``WARNING``, ``ERROR``. 53 54 **-l** *FILENAME* \| **--logfile=**\ \ *FILENAME* 55 Send logging output to *FILENAME*. 56 57 **-v** \| **–version** 58 Print version information. 59 60 See Also 61 ======== 62 63 taler-merchant-httpd(1), taler-merchant.conf(5). 64 65 Bugs 66 ==== 67 68 Report bugs by using https://bugs.taler.net or by sending electronic 69 mail to <taler@gnu.org>.
