     28 **taler-exchange-dbinit** is a command-line tool to initialize the Taler
     29 exchange database. It creates the necessary tables and indices for the
     30 Taler exchange to operate.

     32 Its options are as follows:

     34 **-c** *FILENAME* \| **--config=**\ ‌\ *FILENAME*
     35    Use the configuration and other resources for the exchange to operate
     36    from *FILENAME*.

     38 **-g** \| **--gc**
     39    Garbage collect database. Deletes all unnecessary data in the
     40    database.

     42 **-h** \| **--help**
     43    Print short help on options.

     45 **-L** *LOGLEVEL* \| **--loglevel=**\ ‌\ *LOGLEVEL*
     46    Specifies the log level to use. Accepted values are: ``DEBUG``, ``INFO``,
     47    ``WARNING``, ``ERROR``.

     50    Send logging output to *FILENAME*.
